P. Shine, RN, BA President/National Sales Manager
Dan began his career as a Registered Nurse, working 5 years in a cardiac/medical intensive care unit. He began a sales career in 1981 with the Standard Register Company. In 1984 Dan joined Travacare, a division of Baxter Healthcare, as a Territory Manager, selling home intravenous therapy services to hospitals, physicians, clinicians and insurance companies. Travacare subsequently merged and became Caremark. He was promoted to Sales Manager, General Manager, and Area Director of Operations. As General Manager, he had bottom line responsibility for a $30,000,000 sales office, managing over 80 employees. DSO and cash collection performance were the best of any branch with sales greater that $25,000,000. As Area Director of Operations, Dan managed all operational aspects of a $100,000,000 sales area that had 11 offices and 250 people in the organizational chart. His area led the nation in DSO performance. Awards
Penny Hehr, BS - Vice President, Reimbursement Services Penny began her career in the home infusion industry when she joined Travacare, a division of Baxter Healthcare, in 1983. Travacare subsequently merged and became Caremark. After serving in various operational capacities, she was promoted to Operations Manager, Reimbursement Manager, and Branch Manager. For nearly six years she managed the reimbursement function of a large home infusion branch with average receivables of $10,000,000. During her tenure, DSO and cash collection performance were consistently superior to that of other branches of similar size. She was chosen to participate in the design and implementation of a new national billing system used in 83 branches. As Branch Manager, she managed all operational aspects of a $25,000,000 sales office, managing 75 employees. She also served in a staff capacity on a regional basis to assist in identification and resolution of complex reimbursement issues. Awards
